The Role
Keep the books for a specialist R&D tax advisory firm, and help prepare the claims that return cash to Australian startups.
You'll own our bookkeeping in Xero, from bank feeds through to BAS, and run payroll and super. You'll also work alongside our R&D Tax Incentive consultants, turning client financials into the working papers and schedules behind each claim.
Why you'll like it
- Learn the R&D Tax Incentive, a specialist area of Australian tax, from consultants who work on it every day. No R&D experience needed.
- Own the books end to end instead of one narrow slice
- See a different business up close with every claim, and the refund your work helps deliver
- Join a small team where your work is noticed and relied on
About Us
We are an Australian advisory firm that helps founders and growing businesses get cash back from government for the work they are already doing. Our specialty is the Research and Development Tax Incentive, which can return up to 43.5% of eligible R&D spend. We also help clients with the Export Market Development Grant and other funding options.
Our clients are mostly startups and technology businesses. Many are building something new and need every dollar to go further. When we get a claim right, a client can hire another engineer, extend their runway or launch into a new market.
We are a small team, so everyone's work shows. We value people who are careful with numbers, clear in writing and reliable on deadlines.
