Job Overview

Our client is looking for a creative and mission-driven StoryBrand Content & Social Media Specialist – Storytelling & Fundraising to create compelling narratives, conversion-focused messaging, and engaging digital content. In this role, you will craft and humanize website content, execute email campaigns, manage social media platforms, and maintain a consistent brand voice. The ideal candidate leverages storytelling frameworks to drive donor engagement, raise awareness, and support the organization's national scaling efforts.

Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM CST (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Refine, craft, and humanize website content to ensure authentic, engaging, and mission-aligned messaging.
  • Create conversion-focused and fundraising-oriented content for the organization's website, email campaigns, and digital channels
  • Develop and manage social media content across relevant platforms to increase awareness, engagement, and support the organization's national scaling efforts.
  • Create and maintain a consistent brand voice across website, social media, email, and other public-facing communications.
  • Develop compelling narratives and storytelling-driven content using frameworks such as StoryBrand to engage donors, supporters, and broader audiences.
  • Plan and maintain a social media content calendar, including crafting captions, developing content ideas, and coordinating posts.
  • Monitor social media engagement and identify opportunities to improve reach, audience growth, and content performance.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align content, campaigns, and messaging with the organization's evolving goals and positioning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content creation and social media management, preferably with a focus on conversions, fundraising, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, audience engagement, and organic growth.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences and platforms.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling content ideas and engaging social media narratives.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, error-free content.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the StoryBrand framework or similar storytelling methodologies is a plus.
