Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly autonomous E-Commerce Supply Chain & Fulfillment Specialist – Retail, EDI and 3PL to take full ownership of our daily supply chain, retail fulfillment, and multi-channel inventory operations.

This role requires a hands-on operator who excels at working independently, stepping into existing systems via recorded walkthroughs, Notion documentation, and communication archives to keep operations running seamlessly. You will manage end-to-end retail partner compliance (Target, Walmart, Amazon), 3PL warehouse execution, inventory reconciliations, and EDI routing with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Retail and Marketplace Fulfillment: Own the lifecycle of purchase orders, revisions, routing, and shipping windows for Target, Walmart, and major retail partners. Oversee Amazon FBA replenishment in coordination with marketplace managers.
• 3PL and Freight Logistics Execution: Direct daily operations with 3PL partners (ShipBob, InfoPlus, Givington's). Prepare warehouse intake directives, packing instructions, carton/pallet labels, packing slips, and Bills of Lading (BOLs). Arrange and verify parcel/freight shipments from pickup to delivery.
• Multi-Channel Inventory and Replenishment: Reconcile stock balances across warehouses, Shopify stores, and Amazon. Maintain master SKU, bundle, and case-pack data; track run-out forecasts; and execute stock transfers and reserve inventory movements.
• Inbound Logistics and Receiving: Monitor supplier/manufacturing PO progress, international shipment documentation, and warehouse receiving. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, returns, and unidentified receiving holds.
• EDI, Compliance and Financial Accounting: Generate and verify EDI transactions, Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs), retailer labels, and invoices using SPS Commerce and ShipIQ. Audit receipt documentation and partner with finance to dispute deductions, chargebacks, and claims.
• Order Exception Resolution: Identify and resolve held or unsynced orders, shipping data errors, and SKU mapping glitches across Shopify, EDI, and warehouse platforms without creating duplicate fulfillments.
• Operations Visibility and AI Integration: Maintain the live operating register in Notion, tracking priorities, ownership, and hard deadlines across email and Slack queues. Leverage AI tools to draft documentation, analyze data, and optimize workflows while maintaining 100% human verification for data accuracy.

Requirements

Technical Expertise and Retail Systems

• Retail and EDI Portals: Proven expertise in Target and Walmart vendor portals, Amazon Seller Central, and EDI routing tools (SPS Commerce, ShipIQ).
• 3PLand WMS Software: Hands-on proficiency with WMS and 3PL fulfillment platforms (InfoPlus, ShipBob, Shopify).
• Documentation and AI Tools: Comfortable maintaining systems of record in Notion and utilizing AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for data analysis, process mapping, and research.

Operational Mindset

• Independent Execution: Proven track record of self-guided onboarding—able to absorb recorded walkthroughs, SOPs, and communication histories to hit the ground running immediately.
• Data Precision and Analytical Rigor: Advanced spreadsheet skills with an unyielding attention to detail when cross-checking financial, SKU, and shipment data.
• Communication: Clear, concise written English communication for cross-functional alignment across Slack, email, and vendor networks.
