Recruitment Coordinator (Employment Hero)
Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced, highly organised, and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator (Employment Hero) to support their recruitment and talent acquisition process. The ideal candidate will have strong recruitment and administrative experience, excellent communication skills in English, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment. This role involves a combination of candidate sourcing, screening, recruitment administration, and stakeholder communication. Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly when managing candidate information, recruitment documentation, contracts, and HRIS records. The role also includes conducting phone screens and occasional calls with clients, so the successful candidate must be confident and professional when communicating verbally in English.

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Source and attract suitable candidates through job advertising, direct outreach, databases, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen candidates against role requirements and present qualified candidates to hiring managers or clients.
- Conduct phone screens and initial candidate interviews to assess suitability, experience, communication, and alignment with role requirements.
- Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates as needed.
- Communicate with clients when required to clarify role requirements, provide candidate updates, or support recruitment discussions.
- Manage recruitment administration, including preparing and managing employment contracts and other documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Upload, update, and maintain accurate candidate and employee information in Employment Hero and other recruitment systems.
- Create, publish, and manage job advertisements to attract a strong and relevant candidate pool.
- Ensure recruitment records, candidate profiles, documentation, and status updates are complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Coordinate recruitment activities and follow up on outstanding actions to ensure the recruitment process moves efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling candidate and client information.
- Support other recruitment and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or recruitment coordination.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through to placement and onboarding.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy when handling recruitment records, contracts, candidate information, and administrative tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally with candidates and clients.
- Comfortable conducting phone screens and speaking with candidates and clients by phone when required.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment activities and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a wider team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS and recruitment software.
Qualifications
- Experience with Employment Hero is a significant advantage, although candidates with strong recruitment experience who are willing to learn new systems will also be considered.
- Experience with Australian recruitment practices is highly desirable.
