Outbound Sales Development Representative

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and goal-driven Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Lead Qualification Specialist to join their growing operations.

In this role, you will serve as the initial point of contact for individuals who have received direct mail campaigns. Your primary goal is to follow up with these prospective clients, engage them in warm, professional conversations, qualify their financial needs, and smoothly perform warm transfers to senior sales representatives. If you excel at connecting with people over the phone, navigating sensitive financial conversations with grace, and maintaining high energy throughout your shift, this is an excellent opportunity for long-term growth.

Client Overview

Our client is a premier U.S.-based boutique financial services firm specializing in converting long-term payment streams (such as structured settlements, annuities, and lottery winnings) into immediate lump-sum liquidity. Guided by core values of integrity, speed, and client support, they empower individuals and businesses to achieve immediate financial flexibility—whether for purchasing a home, clearing medical debt, or funding growth. Known for their transparent communication, guided consultation process, and warm corporate culture, they prioritize building long-term, trust-based relationships with every prospective client.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calling & Outreach: Execute consistent outbound follow-up calls to prospects who received direct mail offers using an integrated auto-dialer platform.
  • Lead Qualification & Script Execution: Use structured scripts to evaluate lead eligibility, gauge interest, understand client needs, and address basic objections with poise, patience, and empathy.
  • Live Warm Transfers: Successfully connect 5 to 20 qualified, warm prospects per shift directly to senior account executives / sales representatives.
  • CRM Management: Accurately log call statuses, record detailed conversation notes, update prospect records, and track pipeline progress in a custom-built CRM system.
  • Adaptability & Active Listening: Pay close attention to prospect tone and mood during phone conversations, adapting your approach dynamically to build rapport and build immediate trust.
  • Pipeline Support & Follow-up: Re-engage contacts as necessary to ensure no potential opportunity falls through the cracks.

Requirements

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with a warm, articulate, and confident phone presence.
  • Resilience & Objection Handling: Strong emotional resilience—able to handle rejection professionally, maintain composure, and handle sensitive personal financial topics with care.
  • Integrity & Trustworthiness: High degree of personal and professional integrity, maintaining strict confidentiality and performing duties with minimal supervision.
  • Diligence & Dedication: A hardworking, detail-oriented, and reliable team player committed to staying focused during work hours and looking for a long-term career opportunity with the client.
  • Active Listening: Superior ability to listen, pick up on subtle cues, and ask intelligent qualifying questions.
  • Proven experience and comfort working in U.S. time zones (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST).
  • Fast learner capable of quickly mastering and operating custom CRMs, integrated dialers, and standard productivity tools.

  • Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations
  • Permanent work from home
