Job Overview:

We are looking for an Architectural Drafter who will take ownership of all drafting production for an active design studio, transforming sketches and initial drawings into polished, presentation-ready plans and elevations. Working independently on technical execution, you'll free up the design team to focus on creative direction while you ensure every floor plan, interior elevation, and occasional 3D perspective meets exacting standards. This is a remote role where your technical precision directly impacts project timelines and client satisfaction.

Schedule: Remote, Part Time | Flexible during MT Business hours. 

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 2D floor plans in AutoCAD from designer sketches and markups
• Create precise interior elevations for residential and commercial design projects Formalize and clean up initial AutoCAD drawings provided by the design team
• Generate 3D perspectives in Revit when needed for client presentations
• Convert 3D Revit models to 2D drawings for continued work in AutoCAD platform
• Maintain organized drawing templates and CAD standards
• Manage drafting workload independently with minimal supervision
• Communicate progress and clarify technical questions with design team as needed

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting
• Experience with Revit for 3D modeling and perspectives
• Proven ability to produce detailed interior elevations and floor plans
• Experience working from designer sketches and markup drawings
• Strong technical drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate hardware for CAD work
• Bonus: if you have previous experience with architecture or interior design firms
• Bonus: if you have experience converting between 2D and 3D drawing formats
• Nice to have: It helps if you're familiar with design-build project workflows
