About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and resourceful  Investment Analyst – Financial Modeling & Deal Analysis  to support investment principals across real estate, sports, retail franchises, and venture investments.

The role focuses on deal flow management, financial modeling and analysis, and light deal sourcing. The ideal candidate can independently evaluate opportunities, manage multiple deals, work with incomplete information, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.

Schedule

• Full-time with regular overlap with U.S. Eastern Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the investment pipeline, CRM, and deal database.
• Track opportunities from initial review through diligence, decision, and closing.
• Organize deal documents, financials, models, and diligence materials.
• Build and maintain financial and investment models in Excel.
• Analyze valuations, returns, scenarios, sensitivities, financing, and exit assumptions.
• Evaluate IRR, MOIC, Cash-on-Cash Returns, EBITDA Multiples, Capitalization Rates, Debt Service, and other investment metrics.
• Conduct market, demographic, industry, and competitive research.
• Identify key risks, assumptions, inconsistencies, and additional diligence needs.
• Prepare concise deal summaries, recommendations, pipeline reports, and investment committee materials.
• Research and screen potential investment opportunities, brokers, sponsors, operators, and other deal sources.
• Track sourced opportunities and follow-up actions.

Note: Deal sourcing is a supporting function and does not primarily involve fundraising, investor relations, or partnership closing.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Investment Analysis, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Real Estate Investment, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, Financial Analysis, or another deal-focused analytical role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong financial modeling skills.
• Strong understanding of valuation and investment return analysis.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work independently.
• Strong written English and ability to communicate financial findings clearly.
• Comfortable working remotely with U.S.-based principals and across time zones.
• Strong proficiency with AI tools for research, analysis, workflow automation, and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Real estate investment or transaction experience.
• Exposure to private equity, venture capital, sports, entertainment, retail franchises, or other alternative investments.
• Experience with deal pipelines, investment CRMs, deal sourcing, or investment research.
• Experience preparing investment memoranda or committee materials.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or related field.
