Overview

Our client is looking for a  Social Media Content Creator (Food & Beverage)  to lead the end-to-end visual content strategy for a growing U.S.-based premium coffee brand. In this role, you will transform raw lifestyle photography, roasting footage, and brand origin stories into scroll-stopping reels, carousels, and static posts for their Shopify e-commerce audience. You will work directly with the founder to design engaging, high-impact feed assets that monetize social media channels and hook viewers within seconds. This is an exciting remote opportunity to shape the visual story of a high-quality brand celebrating Dominican coffee culture.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day, flexible within Eastern business hours

Responsibilities

• Create five high-quality social media posts per week, including reels, carousels, and static posts
• Design and edit video content using provided raw footage of coffee roasting, lifestyle imagery, and brand assets
• Embedded captions into reels and carousels as needed for accessibility and engagement
• Deliver final video files and static assets ready for platform upload
• Collaborate with the founder to align content with brand messaging, origin story, and vision
• Stay current on social media trends in the food and beverage space to maximize reach and engagement
• Avoid AI-generated content in favor of authentic, original creative work
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule that supports long-term audience growth

Requirements

• Proven experience as a social media content creator or similar role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work in the food and beverage industry
• Experience creating reels, carousels, and static posts for Instagram and other platforms
• Ability to edit video content with embedded captions and professional polish
• Understanding of content that drives engagement and monetization on social media
• Familiarity with content pacing and audience retention strategies
• Reliable communication skills and ability to work independently

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Bonus if you have specific experience in the specialty coffee industry
• It helps if you understand the nuances of premium or artisan food brands
• Familiarity with Shopify e-commerce brands is a plus
• Experience working with lifestyle and origin-story driven content
