Junior Marketing and Admin Assistant

Position Summary

We are looking for a Junior Marketing and Admin Assistant to support the day-to-day admin and marketing output of a growing events and party production company. You will keep contracts accurate, event listings live, newsletters going out, and social media active.

This role mixes back-office and content work using an established set of tools and templates, with room to bring your own initiative — particularly around using AI to streamline workflows. Part-time to start, with real growth potential.

Schedule: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time (flexible within business hours, 20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Contracts & Invoices: Populate and maintain templates in Google Sheets, making sure all formulas calculate accurately.
  • Event Listings: Update listings and registration products in JotForm, including coupon code creation.
  • Email Marketing: Modify and distribute newsletter campaigns in MailChimp by updating graphics and copy within existing templates.
  • Social Media: Create and schedule posts across designated Facebook groups following an established content calendar.
  • Asset Management: Organise digital content assets in Google Drive for efficient retrieval.
  • AI Tools: Explore and apply AI tools to streamline content searching, gathering, and creation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets — formula management and template population.
  • Background in content creation including basic graphic design and marketing collateral. Applications with portfolios will be prioritised.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with numerical accuracy and data entry.
  • Able to work independently while taking direction from in-house management.
  • Solid written communication and organisational skills.

Preferred Qualities

  • Hands-on experience with JotForm for event or registration management.
  • Experience scheduling and managing social content for community or interest-based Facebook groups.
  • Working knowledge of AI-powered content or productivity tools applied in a professional setting.

Independent Contractor Perks

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring

Note

  • Please click the "Apply" button to complete your application, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording. Your hourly pay rate will be established based on your performance in the application process; submissions with all requirements fulfilled will receive priority review.
