Full-Stack Developer | AI + Consumer Hardware + IoT

Remote | Global | Full-Time / Contractor

Schedule: 40 hrs/week | Flexible within Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT) | Ideally overlapping with Bangkok (GMT+7) or IST

Want to build software for a real AI hardware product rather than another SaaS dashboard?

Our client is a funded early-stage startup developing an innovative, pocket-sized AI device with on-device intelligence. The hardware and manufacturing infrastructure are already in place—now they’re building the software layer that will take the product to market.

We’re looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Developer to work directly with the CTO and founders and take ownership of day-to-day technical execution.

What you'll do

• Build responsive web applications, landing pages and user portals
• Develop backend services, APIs and database integrations
• Integrate payments, subscriptions and third-party platforms
• Rapidly prototype and ship new features and tools
• Troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability
• Translate product direction into clean, production-ready code
• Work closely with the hardware/product roadmap and launch timeline

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience
• Strong frontend skills with React, Vue, Next.js or similar
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python, Go or similar
• Solid API, database and third-party integration experience
• Comfortable taking ownership and working with minimal supervision
• Pragmatic, fast-moving approach—you build, test and ship
• Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment

• IoT / connected hardware experience
• Bluetooth / BLE or hardware-to-cloud integrations
• AI/ML, LLM or on-device AI experience
• Startup or consumer technology experience
• E-commerce / payment platform experience
