The Role:

This is a hybrid role for a rare kind of person: a strong packaging designer who can also run projects end-to-end. You'll design the artwork — labels, mylar bags, 3D renders — AND manage each order from PO to production to delivery. You're the hub between our customers, sales, factories, and shipping team: you create the art, get it approved, hand it to the factory, and track the order until it lands at the customer's door.

About Us:

We are a fast-growing packaging company serving consumer brands. We source, produce, and deliver custom packaging — jars, tubes, mylar bags, and labels — working with domestic and overseas factories to get our customers exactly what they need, on time, looking incredible.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (US Pacific Time) with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

What You’ll Do:

Design

• Design production-ready artwork for labels, mylar bags, jars, tubes, and boxes
• Build and work from dielines; prepare clean print-ready files (bleeds, spot colors, white/matte/gloss layers, foil and spot-UV callouts)
• Create photorealistic 3D renders and mockups for customer approvals and sales presentations
• Work directly with customers on revisions; turn vague feedback into fast, accurate updates
• Keep art files organized and versioned so any project can be reprinted or revised months later

Project Management

• Own every order end-to-end: from PO through artwork approval, production, freight, and delivery
• Maintain the master order tracker — status, next action, and dates for every project, updated daily
• Communicate lead times and shipping updates to customers proactively — before they have to ask
• Work with overseas and domestic factories on production schedules, samples, and quality issues
• Coordinate freight and BOLs with the shipping team; flag delays, damages, and mispicks early and drive them to resolution
• Keep documentation clean: POs, invoices, approvals, and correspondence organized and findable

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of packaging design experience — portfolio heavy on labels, flexible packaging/mylar bags, and product packaging (we will ask to see it; this is the whole interview)
• Expert in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; fluent with dielines, Pantone/spot colors, and print production setup
• Strong 3D rendering skills — KeyShot, Blender, Cinema 4D, Adobe Dimension, or equivalent
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines — you've owned timelines, not just tasks
• Highly organized: trackers, checklists, written confirmations, versioned files
• Strong written communication — clear, professional emails to customers, factories, and vendors
• Understanding of print processes (digital, flexo, rotogravure) and how each affects file setup

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience working with overseas suppliers/factories
• Order-management/ERP software or PM tools (NetSuite )
• Motion graphics or product animation for social/sales content

• Anyone on the team can open your tracker and know the status of every order in 30 seconds
