Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer/Designer to support the development and maintenance of a growing web presence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver responsive, user-friendly websites, customise WordPress themes to client specifications, and keep client sites updated across multiple platforms.

This role suits a detail-oriented developer who works well in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving technical problems independently.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Mountain Time (with 1-hour unpaid break)

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Build user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• WordPress Customisation: Customise template themes to client specifications and create user-friendly, effective designs.
• Multi-Platform Updates: Make regular updates to client websites across WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, Wix, and similar platforms.
• Website Maintenance: Identify and resolve issues to keep sites functioning correctly.
• Testing & Compatibility: Test thoroughly for bugs and ensure consistent performance across browsers and devices.
• Responsive Design: Optimise sites for a seamless experience on all devices.
• Collaboration: Work with designers and other developers to meet project goals.
• Documentation: Write and edit technical documentation.
• Time Tracking: Use Time Doctor for all tracked shift hours and accurately declare your workspace setup, including active monitors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in web development, with front-end WordPress work.
• 2–3 years of jQuery/JavaScript experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with server-side languages (PHP, Python, Ruby) and databases.
• Experience integrating and customising content management systems.
• A portfolio is required. Please include what you personally did on each sample — for example: "website.com — turned wireframe into design using HTML, CSS, WordPress, Elementor."
• Willing to use Time Doctor during shift hours.
• Strong problem-solving skills and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Project management experience.
