Job Overview

Our client is looking for a reliable Video Editor (DaVinci Resolve) to support ongoing recap reels and short-form video content. This is a long-term, part-time engagement ideal for someone who delivers consistently and does not need heavy creative direction to produce clean, polished edits.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM EST (10 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Edit recap reels and short-form video content on a recurring basis.
• Apply clean transitions and basic pacing/style edits (focusing on solid editing rather than high-level motion graphics or color grading).
• Work from provided footage, interviews, and scripts to assemble longer-form pieces as needed (e.g., short documentary-style edits).
• Communicate proactively on turnaround times and flag any delays early.
• Maintain consistent output and reliability week to week as project volume varies.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing in DaVinci Resolve.
• Comfortable with recurring, ongoing work rather than one-off projects.
• Strong communication skills and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Reliable internet connection and quiet home office setup.
