Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated, personable self-starter to fill a dual role as our Appointment Setter and Marketing Assistant. On the appointment-setting side, you will be the first voice many prospective clients hear — reaching out to law firms and legal professionals, qualifying interest, and booking meetings for our leadership team. On the marketing side, you will support our Marketing Manager with campaigns, content, social media, and lead tracking that keep our pipeline full.
Schedule: Remote, Full Time | Monday-Friday, Flexible 20 hours per week during regular business hours (Pacific Time).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective clients (law firms, attorneys, and legal staff) from provided lead lists.
- Qualify prospects, communicate the value of our services, and schedule appointments or demos for the leadership team.
- Follow up promptly with inbound inquiries and warm leads — no inquiry waits more than 10–15 minutes for a response.
- Keep accurate, detailed records of outreach, conversations, and scheduled appointments in our CRM.
- Confirm and remind prospects of upcoming appointments to reduce no-shows.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional outreach.
- Draft and schedule social media posts and help maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Help maintain and segment lead lists, and track campaign performance and lead-generation metrics.
- Support market research — identifying prospective firms, practice areas, and regions for outreach.
- Assist with occasional marketing projects such as flyers, one-pagers, and event or webinar coordination.
Requisites:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a warm, professional phone presence.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling objections with patience and positivity.
- Organized and detail-oriented — able to juggle outreach, follow-ups, and marketing tasks without dropping threads.
- Self-motivated and reliable in a remote work environment.
- Proficient with common office tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office); experience with a CRM (Active Campaign), email marketing platform, or social media scheduling tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in appointment setting, inside sales, customer service, or marketing support preferred.
- Familiarity with the legal industry or litigation support is a plus, but not required — we will train the right person.
Independent Contractor Perks:
- Immediate hiring
- Permanent work from home
