Job Overview:
Do you excel at precision, organization, and keeping complex project data seamlessly on track?
We are seeking a high-calibre Project Data Management Coordinator (Construction) to support a collaborative Australian team, focusing on document control, project file management, and accurate data administration. While experience in construction, cabinetry, kitchen manufacturing, or order processing is a strong advantage, what matters most is your meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and proven ability to follow established processes. Step into a dynamic, low-customer-contact role where your professionalism and process-driven mindset will make a tangible impact from day one.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sydney Time, with 30-minute unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain customer and project information in internal systems.
- Review and verify project files to ensure information is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Identify missing or incomplete information and follow up with relevant internal teams or customers when required.
- Manage and maintain records throughout the different stages of the customer/project journey.
- Ensure jobs progress correctly through established workflow and manufacturing stages.
- Verify customer appliance specifications and accurately record model numbers and relevant project details.
- Coordinate and update project timelines, including building works and construction schedules.
- Perform stage-specific checks before projects progress to the next phase.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all relevant information is properly recorded.
- Provide limited, professional customer communication via phone and other channels when required.
- Follow internal processes, quality standards, and data-handling procedures.
- Support the wider team with general administrative and data-entry tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in data entry, administration, customer service, coordination, order processing, or a similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proven reliability, accountability, and consistency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence working across multiple systems.
- Ability to learn new processes, systems, and workflows quickly.
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
- Comfortable handling occasional customer interactions professionally.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record of professionalism, reliability, accountability, consistency, and strong performance.
- Experience in kitchen, cabinetry, construction, manufacturing, project coordination, order processing, or similar industries would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate.
Why Join the Team?
- Stable, full-time work with an established Australian business.
- Monday-to-Friday schedule.
- Work-from-home arrangement.
- Opportunity to work with a professional and supportive team.
- Long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
- Structured administrative role with limited customer interaction.
Independent Contractor Perks:
- Permanent work from home
- Immediate hiring
- Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations
