Overview:

Our client is a growing SEO and digital marketing agency specializing in AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO for early-stage SaaS startups. They help emerging tech companies strengthen their online authority and visibility through strategic off-site optimization and targeted publisher outreach. They are currently looking for an Outreach and Link Building Specialist (SEO | AEO | GEO) to join their team. 

In this role, you will own the outreach function for multiple SaaS clients, connecting with publishers and content creators to secure high-value backlinks and brand mentions in listicles and industry conversations. Using pre-built targeting software and AI writing tools, you'll execute daily outreach campaigns that directly impact client visibility and search performance. This role offers clear growth potential, with the opportunity to scale into team leadership as the client base expands.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily outreach campaigns to publishers and content creators to secure backlinks and brand mentions
• Write compelling, personalized emails to engage targets and build relationships with editorial contacts
• Manage and work through defined lists of outreach targets using proprietary targeting software
• Leverage ChatGPT and Claude to optimize email copy and outreach messaging
• Track outreach performance and maintain organized records of publisher communications
• Identify opportunities to get clients featured in relevant listicles and industry roundups
• Collaborate with the founder during Pacific Time hours for campaign direction and feedback
• Potentially interface with clients directly as the account base grows
• Scale outreach operations and potentially build out a team as the business expands

Requirements:

• Excellent written English with strong grammar and communication skills
• Proven ability to write clear, persuasive emails and professional correspondence
• Experience using ChatGPT and Claude or similar AI chat-based tools
• Highly conscientious with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working independently with defined processes and target lists
• Availability to work during Pacific Time hours with consistent overlap

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with SEO or digital marketing outreach
• Familiarity with AEO, GEO, or backlink building strategies
• Experience working with SaaS companies or early-stage startups
