Overview:

Our client is looking for a Junior Corporate Finance Analyst to work directly with the founder on client engagements, offering direct exposure to live advisory work and strategic projects in a fully remote environment. Our client is a boutique corporate advisory practice working on live transactions and strategic projects for private companies.

Schedule: Monday to Friday Part-time (20 hours per week: 4 hours a day, ), fully remote, open to candidates anywhere in the world. flexible as long as 2 hours within AEST business hours 

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain financial models, including three-way models, DCFs, comparable company, and precedent transaction analysis
• Prepare client-ready presentations, information memoranda, and pitch materials in PowerPoint
• Research companies, industries, and markets, turning findings into concise, usable briefs
• Support live corporate finance and strategic advisory engagements end-to-end
• Utilize AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and similar) to streamline research and analysis while thoroughly verifying output accuracy prior to client presentation

Requirements:

• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build models from a blank sheet
• Clean, fast PowerPoint capabilities suitable for board-level presentations
• Working grasp of corporate finance, accounting, and valuation principles
• Comfort integrating AI research and productivity tools into daily workflows
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to execute tasks independently without daily supervision
• Clear written and spoken English communication skills

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Background or foundational expertise in corporate finance or financial analysis
