Job overview:
As a full 360 Recruiter, you will bridge the gap between our Skills Bootcamp graduates and active construction careers across Southampton, Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight, and Bexhill. Your core focus is driving employer engagement—sourcing vacancies directly and through agencies—while guiding candidates through interview prep to successfully place them into suitable roles.
Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (UK Time, 40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, recruitment agencies, and industry stakeholders within the company and construction sectors to identify employment opportunities for Skills Bootcamp learners
- Proactively promote learners to employers, matching skills, experience, and career goals to suitable vacancies
- Contact employers and agencies to secure interviews, work placements, and job offers
- Support learners through the recruitment process, including CV preparation and interview coordination
- Track learner progression and employment outcomes in line with programme objectives
- Maintain accurate records and evidence of outcomes for funding and compliance purposes
- Work closely with delivery teams to align learner capability with employer demand
- Monitor labour market trends and support business development activities
- Achieve placement and outcome targets while maintaining a high-quality experience for learners and employers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in recruitment, employer engagement, business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with employers and stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating interviews, job placements, or recruitment activities is preferred.
- Ability to match candidates' skills and experience to suitable job opportunities.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail when maintaining records and tracking outcomes.
- Comfortable working with targets and achieving placement goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online recruitment or CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of the HGV, construction, or training sector is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
