Job Overview
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented, commercially minded Commercial Credit Analyst to support high-quality credit assessment and decisioning across commercial payment plan and equipment finance applications. This role is responsible for analyzing applicant creditworthiness, reviewing financial and supporting documentation, identifying key risks, and preparing clear credit recommendations aligned to internal policy and regulatory obligations.
Working closely with Credit, Sales, Settlements, and accredited partners, the Credit Analyst will help protect portfolio quality while enabling timely, well-supported lending outcomes and a professional customer and partner experience.

Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:50 PM Manila Time, with 1 hour break (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Credit Assessment & Risk Analysis: Review commercial payment plan and equipment finance applications for completeness, accuracy, eligibility, and alignment with credit policy. Analyze commercial credit reports, financial statements, bank statements, cash flow information, trading history, and supporting documentation.
- Risk Evaluation & Reporting: Assess applicant creditworthiness, repayment capacity, business stability, exposure, security position, and overall risk profile. Identify credit risks, policy exceptions, data inconsistencies, documentation gaps, adverse credit indicators, and potential fraud concerns. Prepare concise credit summaries and recommendations outlining rationale, risks, mitigants, conditions, and approval pathways.
- Escalation & Compliance: Escalate higher-risk, complex, or out-of-policy applications with appropriate analysis and context. Support responsible lending, AML/CTF, KYC, privacy, and internal compliance requirements throughout the assessment process. Conduct due diligence checks and verify customer, director, guarantor, and business information.
- System Recording & Quality Control: Ensure all credit assessment activity, decisions, conditions, and supporting documentation are accurately recorded in relevant systems. Apply sound judgment and consistent risk standards to contribute to portfolio quality.
- Credit Operations & Stakeholder Support: Act as a key credit contact for accredited partners regarding application requirements and documentation standards. Guide partners and internal stakeholders on assessment requirements, outstanding information, and approval conditions.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise with Credit, Settlements, Sales, and Operations teams to progress applications efficiently and minimize avoidable delays. Maintain clear, professional communication regarding application status, conditions, exceptions, and follow-up actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing improvement in credit workflows, documentation quality, and turnaround times.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in credit analysis, commercial finance, equipment finance, lending operations, or financial services.
- Financial Analysis: Strong ability to interpret credit reports, financial statements, bank statements, and business documentation.
- Risk Assessment: Sound understanding of credit risk, repayment capacity, policy adherence, and application decisioning principles.
- Technical & System Skills: Experience using CRM, loan origination, or workflow management systems. High attention to detail with strong administrative, document review, and data accuracy skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear credit notes and recommendations.
- Problem Solving & Multitasking: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a practical commercial mindset. Ability to manage multiple applications, competing priorities, and time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- A qualification in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
