SEO Specialist and WIX Website Builder
Part-Time | 20 hours/week | Remote | Worldwide
About the Role
A fast-growing Australian online platform is redefining how individuals lodge their tax returns. They're looking for an SEO Specialist to own their organic search presence end-to-end and build high-converting landing pages that turn visitors into users.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You'll be across strategy and delivery — from technical SEO and link building through to writing blog content and building pages directly in Wix.
What You'll Be Doing
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute keyword strategy aligned to the platform's target audience and growth goals
- Implement on-page SEO across all web content — metadata, headings, internal linking, and copy
- Manage technical SEO — site speed, crawlability, indexing, structured data, and mobile performance
- Build and manage an off-page SEO and link building program to grow domain authority
- Analyse and report on SEO performance with clear insights and actionable recommendations
Website & Content
- Plan and manage website structure to support both SEO performance and user experience
- Write, format, and publish blog content using Wix
- Build and optimise landing pages in Wix — including copy, layout, and conversion elements
- Optimise website funnels to improve the path from first visit to completed tax return
- Monitor and report on website conversion analytics
What We're Looking For
- Proven SEO experience across on-page, technical, and off-page disciplines — results and examples required
- Hands-on experience building and editing pages in Wix
- Strong copywriting skills — you can write for both search engines and real people
- Solid understanding of website funnel optimisation and conversion rate principles
- Proficient with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
- Self-directed and able to manage a varied workload across 20 hours per week
- Familiarity with the Australian tax landscape or financial services a bonus
