Job Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to provide weekend and off-hours quality assurance support for a remote product team. This role focuses on validating newly completed features in a staging environment to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and are ready for production release.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent English reading comprehension, and an interest in software quality assurance. The technical processes, tools, and workflows will be provided during onboarding, making this an ideal position for candidates looking to build a career in QA.
The role is offered as an independent contractor position with a flexible weekend schedule and occasional weekday overflow work.
Schedule

Saturday - Sunday, 4 hours per day, Taipei Time (UTC+8) (up to approximately 6 additional weekday overflow hours as needed) (less than 20 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Review and test feature cards in Trello using Google Chrome in the staging environment, ensuring all features meet documented acceptance criteria.
- Configure and test segments, triggers, lead and contact workflows, SMS and phone call flows, and AI-generated images and video rendering.
- Perform regression testing to verify that new and existing functionality continues to operate correctly.
- Record pass/fail results in Trello and create detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and screen recordings for developer review.
- Escalate production-critical issues according to established procedures while following testing documentation and written checklists accurately.
- Maintain organized documentation, communicate testing progress clearly, and utilize AI tools as part of the QA workflow.
Requirements
- Excellent English reading comprehension with the ability to understand written testing instructions and acceptance criteria.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow documented processes consistently and accurately.
- Comfortable using Google Chrome, web-based applications, and willing to learn AI-assisted QA tools and workflows.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while remaining reliable and responsive during scheduled working hours.
- Strong commitment to accuracy, clear communication, and delivering high-quality testing results.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in Manual Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Virtual Assistant roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation concepts, leads and contacts, customer segmentation, and messaging workflows is preferred.
- Interest in developing skills in QA automation and AI-assisted testing.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Taipei-based team during occasional evening handoff hours.
Training & Onboarding
- Receive comprehensive training on QA processes, Trello, staging environments, internal tools, and AI-assisted workflows; no senior engineering experience required.
Data Security
- Perform testing in a secure staging environment with no access to production data while following strict data security procedures.
