About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with strong experience creating designs for the Mainland China market. In this role, you will develop creative concepts and high-quality visuals for consumer brands, including packaging, retail, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials. You'll collaborate with international creative teams to deliver modern, culturally relevant designs that resonate with Chinese consumers while supporting projects from concept through final production.

- Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM - China Time Zone
Key Responsibilities
- Create creative concepts and visual designs for consumer brands targeting the Mainland China market.
- Design packaging, retail graphics, campaign assets, marketing materials, and promotional products.
- Produce key visuals for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Apply strong Chinese typography and design principles to create engaging communications.
- Ensure designs align with current consumer trends and market preferences in Mainland China.
- Share market and cultural insights to strengthen creative concepts.
- Prepare artwork for both digital and print production.
- Collaborate with international teams and present design ideas clearly in English.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work for the Mainland China market.
- Experience designing consumer brand assets, including packaging, retail graphics, campaign visuals, and marketing materials.
- Strong understanding of Chinese typography, design trends, and consumer preferences.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience preparing artwork for print and digital production.
- Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience with character or IP design, merchandise, or illustration.
- Background designing for lifestyle, FMCG, beauty, fashion, food and beverage, or retail brands.
Portfolio Requirements
Please include a portfolio showcasing:
- Design work created for the Mainland China market.
- Consumer packaging, retail, and campaign designs.
- Examples of Chinese typography and print-ready artwork.
- Merchandise, character/IP, or illustration work (if available).
- A variety of design styles, from playful to premium.
