Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a dedicated Email Customer Support Representative to manage their high-volume email operations. You will act as the primary human touchpoint, overseeing AI-generated drafts and ensuring every customer receives accurate, professional, and helpful responses regarding our scientific products. This is a customer support role for emails only; there are no phone calls required.

Client Overview:

The client is an Australian-based research-use-only peptide company providing technical product support. The business utilizes AI agents to streamline communications and maintain high standards of customer care.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Australian business hours (AEST), with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Review and quality-check AI-generated email response drafts before sending to customers.
  • Guide and redirect the AI agent to produce accurate responses when initial drafts are insufficient.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to peptide products, including reconstitution and usage questions.
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication that aligns with brand voice.
  • Manage and prioritize the Gmail inbox to ensure timely resolution of all queries.
  • Contribute to updating and refining the customer service handbook and AI guidelines.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in technical explanations to research customers.
  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for all inbound inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer support or customer service role.
  • Proficiency in working with AI-assisted tools for drafting and editing communications.
  • Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working within Australian business hours (AEST).
  • Experience managing high-volume email within Gmail environments.

Qualifications:

  • A background in healthcare, biotech, or scientific products is highly preferred (bonus).
