Overview
Our client is looking for an Technical Inside Sales and Lead Qualification Representative to serve as the technical voice and first point of contact for incoming inquiries and customer re-engagement campaigns across European and American markets. You will conduct non-scripted, consultative conversations using methodologies like BANT or SPIN to identify genuine opportunities and schedule high-quality meetings for the sales team. Responsibilities
- Conduct initial qualification calls for incoming inquiries using consultative sales methodologies
- Re-engage thousands of past customers from the company database to explore new opportunities
- Qualify deals by understanding customer technical requirements, processes, and project timelines
- Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team based on thorough needs assessment
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and qualification status in the company database
- Prepare customers for trade shows and exhibitions by scheduling booth meetings and demos
- Learn and retain working knowledge of machine vision camera technology, applications, and use cases
- Adapt communication style to diverse technical audiences across aerospace, medical, entertainment, and industrial sectors
- Identify genuine buying signals versus casual inquiries through strategic questioning
- Represent the company brand with professionalism and technical credibility
Requirements
- Fluent English speaker with excellent verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in IT sales, technology sales, or technical appointment setting
- Demonstrable knowledge of B2B sales qualification methodologies such as BANT or SPIN
- Technical curiosity and willingness to learn complex camera technology and applications
- Ability to conduct consultative conversations rather than following rigid scripts
- Experience scheduling meetings or qualifying leads in a technical or IT environment
- Strong listening skills and ability to ask strategic discovery questions
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Willingness to work European business hours OR US Central Time business hours
- Bonus if you have previous experience in machine vision, imaging technology, or hardware sales
- It helps if you have worked with CRM systems and lead qualification workflows
- Bonus if you have supported exhibition or trade show lead generation programs
- It helps if you understand technical industries such as aerospace, medical devices, or entertainment technology
