Spa Sales & Customer Service Assistant

Job Overview:

Our client is a growing beauty salon seeking a proactive Spa Sales & Customer Service Assistant to support sales, customer service, and daily administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales and customer service background who enjoys engaging with clients, converting inquiries into bookings, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You'll also provide administrative support and assist with posting pre-created social media content to help maintain the salon's online presence.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to Instagram DMs, SMS, email, and phone inquiries.
  • Convert leads into confirmed appointments through professional follow-up and relationship building.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and manage the salon calendar.
  • Follow up with prospective clients and re-engage past clients to encourage repeat bookings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks and maintain organized client records.
  • Schedule and post pre-created social media content across various platforms.
  • Track lead activity and support improvements to the sales and booking process.
  • Work closely with the business owner to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience is required, with a strong ability to convert inquiries into bookings.
  • Excellent customer service experience is required, preferably in a client-facing role.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with appointment scheduling, calendar management, and administrative support.
  • Comfortable communicating through Instagram, SMS, email, and phone.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Responsive and able to engage with new leads quickly.
  • Confident in building rapport and converting leads into appointments.
  • Comfortable assisting with basic social media activities, including posting ready-made content and responding to inquiries.
  • Professional, friendly, and passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences. 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the beauty, salon, wellness, or aesthetics industry.
  • Experience with social media management or community engagement.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and posting pre-created content.
  • Experience with CRM systems or lead management tools.
