Job Overview
A private U.S. psychotherapy practice is seeking a creative and proactive Marketing & Social Media Virtual Assistant (20 hours/week, flexible EST) to support its digital growth. In this remote role, you will develop engaging social media content, manage the practice's online presence, and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness. Responsibilities include designing graphics, writing empathetic captions, tracking analytics, and safely promoting online courses and workshops. This position requires 2–3 years of digital marketing experience and a strong familiarity with Facebook and Instagram best practices.
Schedule
Mon-Fri, flexible within EST business hours (20 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and client engagement.
- Create engaging content, including graphics, captions, and educational posts, for multiple social media platforms.
- Manage and maintain the practice's social media accounts and assist with website content updates.
- Schedule and publish content according to a structured content calendar.
- Monitor social media performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
- Research industry trends and implement best practices in digital marketing.
- Respond to social media inquiries and engage with the online community in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Assist in promoting digital courses, workshops, and other practice offerings.
- Ensure all marketing activities maintain professionalism and support client confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Proven experience creating engaging social media content and executing successful marketing campaigns. (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Strong knowledge of Facebook and Instagram marketing best practices.
- Experience using content scheduling platforms and social media analytics tools.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create compelling and empathetic content.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote environment.
- Comfortable working within the healthcare, mental health, or wellness industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing Meta Ads campaigns for Facebook and Instagram.
- Familiarity with healthcare marketing and HIPAA compliance
- Experience promoting online courses, workshops, or digital products.
- Knowledge of GoHighLevel or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Previous experience supporting mental health, healthcare, or wellness organizations.
