Our client is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Social Media Marketing Assistant to manage day-to-day client communications across social media, SMS, and email while supporting their broader digital marketing efforts. In this role, you will play a key part in converting organic inquiries into appointments, nurturing existing client relationships, and maintaining a consistent online brand presence. Schedule
Monday - Friday, Flexible during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and SMS during designated business hours.
- Coordinate and schedule salon client appointments directly through text messaging and social media conversations.
- Send targeted SMS marketing campaigns to existing clients two to three times per week.
- Send weekly templated email marketing campaigns to promote salon services and retail products.
- Publish social media content consistently across multiple active platforms using provided brand assets.
- Manage customer support inquiries from both localized salon clients and online hair product shoppers.
- Follow up systematically with prospective and existing clients to encourage bookings and repeat business.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing business social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Professional written English communication skills with a polished, helpful, and customer-focused approach.
- Experience handling professional appointment scheduling, calendar management, or customer service inquiries.
- Ability to manage multiple digital conversations simultaneously and prioritize responses efficiently.
- Comfort using automated SMS platforms, email marketing software, and social media messaging tools.
- Proven experience supporting digital marketing campaigns and organic customer engagement initiatives.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills to operate independently in a remote workspace.
