Job Overview

Our client is a US-based healthcare training organization focused on creating standardized, high-quality educational content for medical staff. They are building a comprehensive video-based training library that ensures consistency and quality across all training modules. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to medical education at scale.

In this role, you will be the creative force behind engaging, professional training videos that educate healthcare professionals. Working with medically-focused content, you'll transform scripts and concepts into polished animated training modules that range from 15 minutes to an hour in length. This role combines motion graphics animation with video editing to create uniform, high-quality educational content that includes interactive knowledge assessments. You'll have the creative freedom to develop character-driven scenarios while maintaining consistency across a large training library.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, Hours Flexible between 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM Midwest Time (Central Time) (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Animation Production: Create motion graphics animations for medical training content ranging from 15 minutes to one hour per module.
  • Character Development: Develop character animations featuring classroom training scenarios with instructors and occasional multi-character scenes.
  • Cinematic Framing: Design and implement various camera angles including close-ups, medium shots, and long shots for visual variety.
  • Video Editing & Review: Edit and refine video content to ensure consistency across all training modules and maintain a simple, clean animation style focused on one or two characters per module.
  • Interactive Assessment Integration: Design and integrate embedded knowledge test questions into training videos to confirm learner comprehension.
  • Script Optimization: Work from provided scripts to create uniform, standardized training content.
  • Collaborative Alignment: Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate representation of healthcare training scenarios.
  • Asset Library Maintenance: Create reusable animation elements and reaction shots that can be repeated across multiple modules to optimize delivery.
  • Educational Excellence: Deliver professional-quality output that meets educational standards for medical staff training.

Requirements

  • Motion Graphics Footprint: Proven professional experience in motion graphics and animation, moving beyond basic video editing workflows.
  • Portfolio Verification: A strong portfolio demonstrating advanced character animation and longer-form content creation.
  • Storyboarding & Editing Literacy: Ability to interpret specialized scripts and create engaging visual storytelling for educational content, with experience creating videos longer than typical short-form social media clips.
  • Visual Harmonization: Deep capability to create, manage, and maintain consistent visual styles across multiple videos.
  • Operational Habits: Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality output, reliable communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Prior professional experience creating educational, compliance, or corporate training content is highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience handling medical or healthcare-related subject matter.
  • Experience designing interactive timeline elements or digital assessments within video playbacks.
  • Proven track record creating classroom or presentation-style animated scenarios.
