Job Description
You will serve as a frontline travel booking specialist, managing the complete customer journey from initial inquiry through ticket issuance. Working within a fast-paced sales environment, you will handle inbound and outbound communications, create customized travel solutions using professional GDS systems, process payments securely, and ensure every customer receives expert guidance. This role places you at the heart of helping people realize their travel dreams while driving business growth through exceptional service and follow-through.

Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls, messages, and chat inquiries from customers seeking travel bookings
- Make outbound follow-up calls to nurture leads and close sales opportunities
- Process flight bookings using Travelport GDS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Securely collect and process customer payments for travel services
- Generate and send e-tickets and booking confirmations to customers
- Provide ongoing customer support throughout the booking lifecycle
- Manage the complete sales process from lead generation through post-booking support
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and booking details
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding flight options, pricing, and travel requirements
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
Must-Have Requirements
- Proven experience working with Travelport GDS booking system
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated experience in travel agency operations or airline booking environments
- Strong sales aptitude with ability to convert inquiries into bookings
- Proficiency in customer service and relationship management
- Reliable home internet connection with backup internet availability
- Ability to work during Australian business hours
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Bonus if you are fluent in Arabic in addition to English It helps if you have experience managing high-volume customer communications across multiple channels
