Senior Project Delivery Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Solutions & Delivery Executive to lead software, integration, automation, AI, cloud, and digital transformation projects from the initial customer conversation through to successful delivery.

This is not a traditional developer role. This role is for someone who understands business processes, customer challenges, solution design, data flow, user roles, project scoping, technical leadership, and delivery management.

You will work directly with customers, developers, QA testers, project stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure projects are clearly scoped, well planned, commercially sensible, and delivered to a high standard.

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (Australian Eastern Time, 40 hours per week)

What You Will Be Doing?

  • Customer Leadership
    • Lead customer workshops, planning sessions, demonstrations, and project meetings.
    • Build strong long-term relationships with customers and become a trusted advisor for assigned projects.
    • Understand customer problems and translate them into actionable software, integration, and automation solutions.
    • Manage customer expectations, communication, risks, timelines, and project visibility.
  • Solution Architecture & Business Analysis
    • Design software, AI, integration, automation, and digital transformation solutions.
    • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Create solution designs, workflows, process maps, user journey maps, and data flow diagrams.
    • Define system architecture, user roles, permissions, access controls, and integration requirements.
    • Convert customer ideas into clearly documented project plans and delivery scopes.
  • Project Planning, Building & Delivery
    • Scope, plan, and manage projects from initiation through deployment and handover.
    • Prepare project estimates, milestones, timelines, resource plans, and delivery phases.
    • Break large projects into practical stages, deliverables, work packages, and acceptance criteria.
    • Identify project risks, dependencies, blockers, and scope gaps early.
    • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within agreed scope, and aligned to customer outcomes.
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and clear communication.
  • Technical Team Leadership
    • Lead, coordinate, and mentor developers, QA engineers, designers, and third-party vendors.
    • Run sprint planning, project reviews, delivery check-ins, and technical discussions.
    • Assign tasks, review progress, remove blockers, and hold delivery teams accountable.
    • Provide technical direction and ensure solutions are built to a professional standard.
    • Review existing projects and help improve maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
  • AI & Internal Process Improvement
    • Use AI-assisted development and AI coding tools to improve productivity and delivery speed.
    • Identify opportunities where AI can improve internal workflows, documentation, support, project delivery, and automation.
    • Experiment with modern AI tools and convert useful ideas into practical internal improvements.
  • Commercial, Quotes & Pre-Sales
    • Assist with project estimates, quotations, project proposals, and Statements of Work.
    • Identify assumptions, exclusions, risks, and commercial impacts before work begins.
    • Participate in customer presentations and solution discussions.
    • Support business growth by identifying improvement opportunities in existing customer environments.
  • Servers, Platforms & Existing Projects
    • Assist with oversight of hosted environments, cloud platforms, web applications, and critical systems.
    • Help manage existing projects, production systems, deployments, upgrades, and technical issues.
    • Understand server management, monitoring, backups, security, access control, and disaster recovery concepts.
    • Coordinate with developers, vendors, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and improve system health.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Proven experience leading customer meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Strong experience in project planning, software project delivery, and end-to-end implementation.
  • Experience managing software projects from concept through to production.
  • Experience leading developers and technical teams.
  • Ability to gather requirements and convert them into structured project scopes, plans, and deliverables.
  • Strong business analysis, process mapping, and documentation capability.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong ownership mindset, accountability, and customer-focused attitude.

AI Experience (Highly Desirable):

  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate coding, documentation, problem-solving, workflow design, and internal process improvement.
  • Experience implementing AI workflows, automations, chatbots, business intelligence, or productivity tools is highly desirable.
  • Passion for applying AI to solve real business problems.

  • Can manage project risks, customer expectations, and communication.
  • Can oversee existing systems, servers, projects, and ongoing technical work.
  • Takes ownership, follows through, and gets things done.
