Data Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-driven Data Analyst (AI & Business Intelligence) to support our Operations team and Insurance Manager in transforming data into actionable business insights.
This role will play a critical part in analyzing large volumes of insurance claims and operational data, identifying business trends, improving reporting capabilities, and implementing AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with technical expertise in data visualization, automation, and business intelligence tools. You will work closely with key stakeholders to improve business processes, automate repetitive tasks, and develop reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
- Analyze large volumes of insurance claims, operational, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce regular business performance reports.
- Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions.
Reporting & Data Visualization
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Airtable, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Develop automated reports that improve visibility into operational performance.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
AI, Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and reporting processes using AI tools and automation platforms.
- Research, implement, and optimize AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Support workflow automation and system integrations to streamline business processes.
- Recommend continuous improvements based on data insights and emerging technologies.
Systems & Technical Support
- Assist with maintaining and improving business systems, databases, and reporting platforms.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and support users with reporting and system functionality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize system performance and data management practices.
Collaboration & Project Support
- Work closely with the Operations Team and Insurance Manager to support business improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective analytical solutions.
- Participate in projects focused on operational excellence, technology implementation, and digital transformation.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience using SQL for querying and managing datasets.
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Airtable, or similar visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred
- Experience with AI tools and automation platforms.
- Knowledge of workflow automation and system integration technologies.
- Experience working within construction, insurance, property services, or a project-based industry.
- Familiarity with business process improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting operational reporting and executive decision-making.
