Our client operates within the online spiritual guidance and wellbeing sector, providing personalised services through phone, email, and SMS channels. They are seeking a commercially driven Marketing Automation & CRM Specialist to lead customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing initiatives across multiple digital channels.
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented marketing professional who enjoys combining creativity with data-driven decision-making. You will play a pivotal role in driving customer growth, increasing customer lifetime value, and strengthening customer loyalty through CRM, digital marketing, automation, and AI-powered solutions.
Role Overview:
As the Marketing Automation & CRM Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimising digital marketing strategies that attract new customers, increase engagement, and maximise customer retention. You will own the end-to-end customer lifecycle, managing CRM initiatives, email and SMS marketing, paid advertising, SEO, content marketing, and social media to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Working closely with key stakeholders, you will analyse customer behaviour, optimise marketing performance, and identify new opportunities to grow revenue through data-driven decision-making, testing, and automation.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule within the client’s business hours (UK Time, 20 hours per week)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and increase customer lifetime value.
- Prepare weekly marketing performance reports analysing customer acquisition, repeat purchases, customer engagement, retention, and campaign performance.
- Monitor website traffic, conversion rates, SEO performance, keyword opportunities, and user behaviour, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Design, implement, and optimise automated customer journeys, including welcome, onboarding, follow-up, retention, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Create and manage targeted email and SMS marketing campaigns that improve customer engagement and encourage repeat business.
- Segment and maintain customer databases to deliver personalised marketing campaigns while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Produce engaging SEO-focused content, including articles, landing pages, and website copy that improve search visibility and customer experience.
- Manage and grow social media channels through engaging content, promotional campaigns, and community engagement across Facebook, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Plan, execute, and optimise Meta advertising campaigns focused on customer acquisition, lead generation, and retargeting.
- Analyse campaign performance, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and commercial growth.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and marketing automation to improve productivity, campaign performance, and customer communications.
KPI Expectations:
- Increase repeat customer purchases and customer lifetime value.

- Grow engagement across email, SMS, and social media channels.

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of three years' experience in digital marketing, CRM, customer retention, or lifecycle marketing.
- Proven experience managing email and SMS marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of CRM strategy, customer segmentation, and database marketing.
- Experience creating SEO strategies and developing high-quality digital content.
- Hands-on experience managing Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data and marketing performance metrics.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Experience using AI tools to improve campaign planning, content creation, reporting and marketing efficiency.
Nice to Have:
- Experience within wellbeing, lifestyle, ecommerce, or customer-focused service industries.
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO research tools.
- Experience developing TikTok content strategies.
- Familiarity with AI-powered marketing automation and workflow optimisation.
