IT Help Desk Lead (Tier 1 & Tier 2 Remote Support)

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Lead (Tier 1 & Tier 2 Remote Support) to provide technical assistance, resolve user issues, and help improve internal technology operations. This role will support employees across hardware, software, networking, Microsoft 365, and general IT infrastructure while contributing to continuous process improvements.

Client Overview:

A growing US-based organization is looking for an experienced IT Help Desk Support Lead to provide technical support while helping maintain reliable day-to-day IT operations across the business.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM MST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:
    • Provide first and second-line IT support
    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
    • Resolve user access and account problems
    • Manage software installations and updates
  • IT Operations:
    • Maintain documentation and knowledge bases
    • Monitor IT systems and recommend improvements
    • Coordinate with external vendors when required
    • Support cybersecurity and user best practices
  • User Support:
    • Assist employees with day-to-day technology issues
    • Provide remote troubleshooting and training
    • Ensure excellent customer service across the business

Requirements:

  • Previous IT Help Desk or Desktop Support experience
  • Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge
  • Experience supporting Windows environments
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading IT support teams
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Remote support experience
