About the Role:
A growing multimedia company is looking for a versatile Senior Video Editor who can move confidently between two distinct worlds: cinematic wedding filmmaking and high-impact commercial content. This is a dual-discipline role — one day you're crafting an emotional wedding feature film, the next you're cutting a punchy TikTok campaign. You'll need to be technically excellent and creatively adaptable.

Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Australian Eastern Time, 40 hours per week)
What You’ll Be Doing:
Wedding Films
- Edit cinematic wedding highlight films and full-length feature films to a high standard
- Colour grade LOG footage (Sony and Blackmagic camera formats) to achieve a polished, cinematic look
- Sync and professionally mix audio across dialogue, ambient sound, and music
- Follow the company's established wedding editing style and storytelling approach
Commercial & Social Content
- Edit promotional videos, advertisements, podcasts, and branded content
- Create engaging short-form content optimised for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Colour grade and mix audio across a variety of commercial content formats
Across Both
- Manage proxy-based editing workflows efficiently
- Handle cloud-based file transfers and asset management reliably
- Collaborate with the creative team, incorporating feedback efficiently
- Meet project deadlines consistently without compromising quality
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience editing both wedding films and commercial/social media content — a portfolio or showreel covering both is required
- Strong colour grading skills with LOG footage; Sony and Blackmagic experience preferred
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro (preferred) — experience in Premiere Pro considered
- Solid audio sync and mixing skills
- Sharp understanding of pacing, storytelling, and current social media trends
- Comfortable adapting between creative styles and content formats
- Reliable and organised with remote proxy and cloud workflows
Bonus Skills:
- Motion graphics and animation experience — not essential, but a definite plus
