Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Graphic Designer (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Print Production) to transform creative concepts into polished, production-ready assets. As the Lead Designer's technical partner, you'll manage templates, prepare print-ready artwork, create multiple asset variations, and ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical execution, production workflows, and perfecting the details rather than creating concepts from scratch.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM UK time
Responsibilities
- Design Administration: Take the lead designer's concepts/master files and handle the day-to-day "design admin" efficiently
- Template Management: Place creative designs into Adobe Illustrator templates with 100% accuracy
- Technical Finishing: Prepare files for the real world, ensuring all artwork is polished and professional
- Asset Iteration: Create various sizes and formats from a single master design, maintaining consistency across all versions
Requirements
- Production Fluency: You must be fluent in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for production-specific tasks (layer management, clipping masks, non-destructive editing)
- Print Literacy: Fully comfortable with bleed, margins, slugs, and print-ready specs. You should know exactly how to prep a file so a printer has zero questions
- Execution-Led: You are happy to take direction and follow established concepts, focusing your energy on high-quality execution rather than reinventing the design
The Ideal Candidate
- You are a "finisher" who thrives on checklists and technical accuracy
- You understand design specifications and can spot a resolution or margin error from a mile away
- You want to gain experience in a professional workflow where the focus is on efficiency and precision
Independent Contractor Perks
- Permanent work from home
- Immediate hiring
Note
- Please click the "Apply" button to complete your application, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording. Your hourly pay rate will be established based on your performance in the application process; submissions with all requirements fulfilled will receive priority review.
