Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive E-commerce Outbound Recovery Specialist to contact customers who have abandoned their checkout process. Your primary goal is to gather insights into why purchases weren't completed and encourage customers to return, directly impacting conversion rates and business growth.

Client Overview:

An international e-commerce business serving the US market. The company is focused on recovering lost revenue and understanding customer behavior to optimize their checkout experience.

Schedule:

• Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule within the client’s business hours (US Eastern Time, 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound cold calls to US-based customers who abandoned their checkout process
• Engage customers in conversation to uncover the reasons behind their incomplete purchases
• Document and categorize customer feedback to identify recurring patterns and trends
• Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to help improve business conversion rates
• Build rapport quickly with customers to foster trust and encourage honest responses
• Follow up on leads where customers express interest in completing their purchase
• Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach strategies and scripts

Requirements:

• Strong verbal English proficiency
• Previous experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, or customer engagement roles
• Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
• High level of attention to detail when documenting customer responses
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written communication skills for reporting insights
• Bonus if you have experience in E-commerce or retail customer recovery
• It helps if you are comfortable working US business hours consistently
