Job Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer (React, TypeScript & Node.js) to own the complete software development lifecycle, building features across both the frontend and backend while contributing to architectural decisions. You'll work with modern technologies including React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure within a highly collaborative multi-tenant SaaS environment.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack features from planning through production.
- Build responsive, modern user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and contemporary frontend best practices.
- Develop and maintain backend services, REST APIs, middleware, and request validation using Node.js and Express.
- Create and manage PostgreSQL database migrations, write efficient SQL queries, and optimize database performance.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to design scalable, maintainable software architecture and participate in design discussions.
- Perform thorough peer code reviews, provide constructive technical feedback, and write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and contribute to maintaining complex platform components including multi-tenant architecture and scheduling systems.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience in production environments.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with TypeScript and React.
- Proven ability to independently own software features from design through deployment.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts, including joins, indexes, transactions, and query optimization.
- Experience developing backend applications using Node.js, Express, or a comparable server framework.
- Experience building RESTful APIs, middleware, and request validation alongside React 18, hooks, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience using Git with a clean commit history, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.
Nice To Have
- Experience with shadcn/ui and working with PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and data migrations from legacy systems.
- Experience with cloud deployments, S3-compatible object storage, and exposure to Capacitor or mobile tech.
