Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Time Bookkeeper to manage high-volume accounts payable for a Texas-based professional accounting firm specializing in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
In this role, you will align with US business hours (CST/PST) to ensure the accurate entry, coding, and reconciliation of vendor bills. Your work will directly support day-to-day financial operations, keeping client records impeccably maintained, clean, and audit-ready.
Schedule: Remote, Fulltime | Flexible Schedule during US business hours CST/PST.
Responsibilities:
- High-Volume AP Management: Enter and code a large volume of vendor bills accurately across multiple restaurant client accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Generate and maintain detailed accounts payable reports to track and manage outstanding bills.
- Reconciliation & Record-Keeping: Reconcile payables and ensure timely, precise logging of all client expenses.
- Data Organization: Support day-to-day bookkeeping operations through transaction categorization and financial documentation organization.
- Leadership Collaboration: Work directly with firm leadership to ensure all completed financial tasks align with specific client requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven AP Experience: Demonstrated background in managing accounts payable processes, specifically high-volume bill entry and coding.
- Software Proficiency: Strong, essential hands-on experience with QuickBooks and/or Xero.
- US Accounting Familiarity: Prior experience providing bookkeeping support for US-based businesses and a solid understanding of US accounting terminology.
- Operational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, high accuracy with financial data, and strong time management skills to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Remote Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote environment during CST/PST business hours.
- Industry Bonus: Prior experience specifically within the restaurant or hospitality sector is highly preferred.
