Job Description:
The Customer Service Representative will provide email-based support and assist with Shopify order management. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and a proactive approach to ensure a positive customer experience while maintaining internal operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
Schedule:
Full-time — Monday to Friday and Sunday
6 hours per day / 36 hours per week
Aligned with Newcastle, UK time
Client Location / Time Zone:
United Kingdom (Newcastle time zone)
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer emails quickly, clearly, and professionally
- Update and manage Shopify orders (tracking updates, small order adjustments)
- Provide customers with basic product and order-status information
- Flag any issues or unusual customer concerns to the internal team
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in all customer interactions
- Support smooth order processing and internal communication for operational efficiency
Requirements (Skills):
- Previous experience in email-based customer support or e-commerce administration
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and prioritise effectively
- Professional, polite, and customer-focused attitude
