Bilingual Client Services Coordinator

Job Overview:

You’ll be the vital bridge between the agency and its Mandarin-speaking clients, using your bilingual skills to provide exceptional service while supporting critical business operations. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a real difference in clients’ insurance experience by communicating in their preferred language. You’ll work directly with clients, manage important documentation, and be part of a team that values cultural understanding and personalized service.

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (US Pacific Time, 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer support to clients in both English and Mandarin Chinese via phone, email, and other channels
  • Manage customer files, documentation, and maintain accurate records
  • Handle email correspondence and coordinate calendar scheduling
  • Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate team members
  • Identify client language preferences and adapt communication accordingly
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and file management
  • Support daily operations and assist with special projects as needed
  • Maintain professional communication standards in both languages

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional phone manner
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and cloud-based platforms
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Bonus if you have insurance industry experience
  • It helps if you’re familiar with CRM systems and customer databases
