Technical Training Specialist (HealthTech)

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Technical Training Specialist (HealthTech) with 2 to 3 years of experience to lead the onboarding and continuous training of their B2B customers (pharmacy owners, clinical pharmacists, and pharmacy staff). In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between their advanced software and the end-users. You will ensure that clients fully understand how to adopt and maximize modern, AI-driven features—such as automated revenue discovery tools, AI-powered patient documentation, and integrated medical billing modules. The ideal candidate will excel at translating complex, technical AI and billing workflows into simple, user-friendly instructions, ensuring low friction and high customer satisfaction during onboarding and eager to make a tremendous impact within a fast-growing company.

Client Overview:

Our client is a fast-growing, innovative technology provider dedicated to modernizing operations and maximizing revenue recovery for independent pharmacies and healthcare providers. Their cutting-edge, HIPAA-compliant SaaS platform leverages advanced AI—including automated opportunity discovery, AI clinical scribing, and intelligent medical billing automation—to seamlessly bridge the gap between pharmacy dispensing and clinical health services. By simplifying complex clinical workflows like vaccine management, point-of-care testing, and Medical Therapy Management (MTM), they empower healthcare professionals to spend less time on manual data entry and more time on patient care.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Anaheim, CA time), with 1 hour unpaid/paid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Onboarding & Live Training: Conduct engaging, live remote training sessions and product walkthroughs for new pharmacy clients, ensuring their teams are confident using our software on day one.
  • Feature Adoption: Guide users on how to utilize specific advanced capabilities, including integrating our software with Pharmacy Management Systems (PMS), navigating AI-driven clinical notes/scribing, and running back-billing revenue discovery.
  • Content Creation: Design, update, and maintain a robust library of customer-facing training materials, including step-by-step user guides, video tutorials, and knowledge-base articles.
  • Compliance & Workflow Alignment: Train users on how to navigate the platform while maintaining standard clinical compliance, utilizing our built-in SOAP consultation templates, and managing state registry reporting (e.g., vaccine documentation).
  • Feedback Loop: Partner closely with our Product and Customer Success teams to share user feedback, common friction points, and feature requests gathered during training sessions to continuously improve the user experience.

Requirements:

  • Tenure: 2 to 3 years of experience
  • Working Environment: Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home office setup suitable for daily client-facing video calls.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience as a Training Specialist, Customer Onboarding Specialist, or Implementation Manager, preferably within B2B SaaS, HealthTech, or Pharmacy Tech environments.
  • Communication Skills: Must possess excellent English communication skills, both oral and verbal. You should have the ability to deliver clear, empathetic, and professional instructions over video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
  • Domain Knowledge (Plus): Basic familiarity with pharmacy workflows, medical billing, clinical encounters (like MTM or POCT), or healthcare SaaS platforms is highly advantageous.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort learning complex software quickly and a strong ability to clearly demonstrate modern AI and automated features to non-technical users.
  • Instructional Design: Experience creating simple, professional tutorial videos, screenshots, and written documentation.
  • Culture Fit: A dynamic mindset with a strong desire to learn, scale, and actively contribute to the growth of a fast-paced technology provider.

Independent Contractor Perks:

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring
  • Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations
