Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations & Business Support Executive Assistant to provide administrative support for a busy business owner in the hospitality industry. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day business operations by managing schedules, communications, supplier coordination, invoicing, and various administrative tasks.

This role offers the opportunity to support both business and restaurant operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM UK Time Zone (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the business calendar, including scheduling meetings and reviewing weekly appointments
- Monitor and manage high-volume email correspondence, drafting and responding to emails professionally on behalf of the business
- Place supplier orders through designated ordering portals and maintain accurate order records
- Manage restaurant reservations via OpenTable and conduct background research on incoming guests when required
- Prepare and issue invoices, monitor payment status, and liaise with accountants regarding outstanding payments
- Conduct research related to shares, investments, and stock market activity as requested
- Coordinate with suppliers, accountants, and other external stakeholders
- Maintain organised digital records and documentation
- Handle confidential business and financial information with discretion
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in roles such as Administrative Assistant, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or Business Administrator
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable learning new systems, software, and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience using online booking platforms such as OpenTable is an advantage
- Experience with invoicing and supplier management is preferred
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Experience supporting a hospitality, restaurant, or food & beverage business
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping or financial administration
- Interest or familiarity with shares and stock market research
