Head of Growth

The Role

This is a senior, execution-heavy growth leadership role. You will be the growth engine of the client — owning the numbers across every revenue channel, managing external agencies and internal team members, and working directly with the co-founder on a daily basis.

You are not a strategist who delegates. You are someone who builds the strategy, gets into the data, challenges the agencies, and drives outcomes. You have done this before — at scale, across multiple channels, in competitive markets.

You are also AI-native. Not in theory. In practice. You have built automations, used AI to surface growth signals, and made it a core part of how you work every day.

 


What You Will Own

Amazon

  • Own MoM revenue growth on Amazon UAE
  • Lead weekly strategy sessions with the Amazon ads agency
  • Identify bundle and SKU opportunities based on performance data
  • Own campaign planning and coordinate execution for key events (Prime Day, White Friday, etc.)
  • Present post-campaign performance reports with clear learnings and next actions

Email Marketing (Klaviyo)

  • Oversee the Klaviyo agency and independent creative designer
  • Own the campaign calendar strategy — planned well in advance of key e-commerce events (Black Friday, Ramadan, Back to School, etc.)
  • Review and approve all creatives with structured, brand-aligned feedback
  • Grow MoM email revenue by optimizing flows, segmentation, and campaign performance
  • Track and report on open rates, click rates, conversion, and attributed revenue

Shopify (Primary Revenue Channel)

  • Own Shopify as the primary growth channel
  • Launch new products end-to-end: product pages, imagery, copy, bundles
  • Monitor SKU performance and flag slow-moving or out-of-stock inventory
  • Coordinate reorder timing with the Founder and Operations
  • Run CRO initiatives and coordinate: landing page tests, checkout optimization, upsell/cross-sell
  • Coordinate with design and development resources as needed
  • Replicate and adapt the Shopify store for KSA launch in Q4 2026

Retail & B2B

  • Own retail sales growth across Instashop, Deliveroo, Noon Minutes, Supermall, Spinneys, and Gold Apple
  • Drive visibility: negotiate shelf placement, featured listings, and in-app promotions
  • Pitch new product launches to retail partners
  • Coordinate campaigns aligned with retailer promotional calendars
  • Identify and develop new retail and B2B partnerships in UAE and KSA

Social Media

  • Oversee the social media agency across organic and paid content
  • Ensure ideas are briefed and delivered on time — no last-minute scrambles
  • Give structured, actionable creative feedback
  • Track follower growth, engagement, and sales attributed to organic and paid social
  • Hold the agency accountable to performance with weekly review meetings

Google & Meta Ads

  • Advise on campaign performance and report on key metrics
  • Take full ownership of campaign creation for upcoming sales events
  • Work alongside the Founder who currently manages campaigns independently
  • Introduce AI-driven signals and automation to improve targeting and efficiency

KSA Market Launch (Q4 2026)

  • Contribute market entry expertise based on prior experience launching in new geographies
  • Coordinate Shopify store localization for KSA
  • Support retail prospecting and campaign planning for KSA launch
  • Align KSA and UAE campaigns where overlap creates efficiency

 


Who You Will Work With

  • Founder (daily) — strategy, budget decisions, new initiatives
  • Product Innovation Lead (direct report) — new SKU development, bundle creation, launch coordination
  • Operations (direct report) — stock levels, logistics, reorder planning
  • Amazon Agency — performance oversight and strategy alignment
  • Klaviyo Agency + Creative Designer — email campaign execution
  • Social Media Agency — organic and paid content oversight
  • Design & Development resources — Shopify and landing page work

 


What Success Looks Like

The business is at an inflection point. The channels are live, the brand has traction, and the products have proven market fit. What we need now is someone who can take what's working and accelerate it — significantly and quickly.

In your first year, you will be expected to meaningfully grow revenue across Shopify, Amazon, and retail — and lay the commercial foundation for KSA. We are not looking for incremental improvements. We are looking for someone who has driven step-change growth before and knows exactly how to do it again.

You will be measured on:

  • MoM and YoY revenue growth across all channels
  • Channel-specific performance KPIs (conversion rate, ROAS, email attributed revenue, retail sell-through)
  • Quality and timeliness of agency management and campaign execution
  • Successful KSA market activation in Q4 2026
  • Depth and quality of data-driven reporting presented to the Founder

 


What We Are Looking For

Experience

  • Previously held a Head of Growth, Growth Director, or equivalent title — not a first-time step-up
  • 5+ years in e-commerce growth, with demonstrable revenue impact
  • Experience working with or inside a DTC brand — ideally in FMCG, health, beauty, or home
  • Proven track record of managing and holding external agencies accountable
  • Experience launching into new markets — GCC experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working directly with a founder in a fast-moving, lean environment

Channel Expertise

  • Deep hands-on knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Ads
  • Klaviyo — understands flows, segmentation, and campaign architecture
  • Shopify — product management, CRO, analytics, and store operations
  • Meta and Google Ads — can build, optimize, and report independently
  • Retail/B2B — has negotiated with retail partners and driven sell-through

Data & Analytical Skills

  • Strong in data — can build and read dashboards, identify trends, and make decisions from numbers
  • Comfortable with tools like Windsor.ai, Google Analytics, and channel-native reporting
  • Presents performance reports that are clear, honest, and actionable — not vanity metrics

AI Proficiency — Non-Negotiable

  • Actively uses AI tools in day-to-day work (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent)
  • Has built automations or workflows using AI to improve growth outcomes
  • Can demonstrate specific examples of using AI to surface insights, save time, or drive decisions
  • Familiar with tools such as Claude, Tempo, Figma, and AI-powered analytics platforms
  • Keeps up with the latest developments in AI applied to e-commerce

Trial Project (Required)

All final-stage candidates will complete a paid trial project as part of the hiring process.

The brief: You will be given access to the business's current channel performance data and asked to deliver a 90-day Growth Plan covering:

  • Your diagnosis of where the biggest growth levers are today
  • A prioritized action plan across Shopify, Amazon, and retail
  • How you would structure your first 30/60/90 days
  • At least one AI-driven workflow or automation you would implement immediately
