Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven B2B Media Sales & Advertising Specialist to help grow the reach and advertising revenue of an established quarterly print magazine and personal development community. In this part-time remote role, you will focus on securing advertising partnerships, expanding regional distribution, and building relationships with local businesses and premium venues that align with the magazine's brand. This is a KPI-driven, commission-incentivized position where you will independently manage targeted outreach campaigns, pitch marketing packages, and monitor key sales metrics to meet quarterly revenue goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in media or B2B sales, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strategic approach to client acquisition.

Schedule

Mon-Fri, flexible during client business hours CST (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure advertising clients to generate revenue for the magazine's quarterly publications.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to attract new advertisers and sponsors.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with premium distribution locations to expand the magazine's visibility and readership.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with advertisers and business partners.
  • Track, monitor, and report on key sales metrics to ensure quarterly revenue goals are achieved.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives with publication schedules and campaign timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, client communications, and sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in advertising sales, media sales, or B2B business development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong pitching and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing priorities across a quarterly sales cycle.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to develop lasting client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment with revenue targets.
