Job Overview

A fast-growing faith-based media and community organization is seeking a results-driven Senior Social Media Manager working Sunday through Thursday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST). In this remote role, you will look beyond simple content scheduling to translate leadership's vision into high-impact digital campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. You will collaborate with internal teams, track performance metrics, and optimize content to drive measurable growth and engagement. This strategic position requires at least 5 years of experience in digital content strategy and a highly accountable, outcome-driven mindset.

Schedule

Mon-Thu, and Sunday (on-call) 8 am - 5 pm EST with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with organizational vision and objectives
  • Translate leadership direction into clear, engaging, and platform-appropriate content
  • Manage day-to-day social media operations across multiple platforms
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency and alignment
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize content based on data and insights
  • Ensure consistent delivery of content within set quotas and deadlines
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and audience behaviors to improve engagement and reach
  • Maintain brand voice, tone, and messaging across all digital touchpoints
  • Report on performance outcomes and provide actionable recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital content strategy for at least 5 years; MUST BE WILLING TO DO A CLIENT ASSESSMENT
  • Strong understanding of major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to translate abstract ideas or vision into clear, engaging content (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT A PORTFOLIO)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet quotas and deadlines consistently
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting performance metrics
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-integrated environment
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
  • High level of accountability and ownership over results
