Job Overview
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and technically capable Power Platform Developer (Power Apps & Power BI) to join their growing technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Microsoft Power Platform professional who is passionate about automation, business applications, data analytics, and continuous learning. You will work alongside experienced developers and business stakeholders to design, develop, maintain, and improve Microsoft Power Platform solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the business. The role offers exposure to a wide range of Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365, Power BI, Microsoft Dataverse, API integrations, and Microsoft's rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Victoria Time (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps and assist with Power Pages solutions.
- Build and enhance automated Power Automate workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with enhancements, maintenance, and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Customer Insights (DCI) applications.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations utilizing basic DAX calculations and data modeling.
- Work with Microsoft Dataverse to manage business data and assist with API integrations using REST services and connectors.
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries for technical reporting, integrations, data transformation, and validation activities.
- Investigate technical issues, document workflows, and participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and stand-ups.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem (Power Apps and Power Automate).
- Demonstrated experience working with Power BI reports, dashboard visualizations, and basic DAX calculations.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, data modeling concepts, and basic to intermediate SQL skills.
- Clear understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, and standard Power Platform connectors.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities to resolve application issues.
- Professional written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to work independently and manage project priorities in a remote environment.
