Senior Full-Cycle Bookkeeper (Odoo ERP)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Senior Full-Cycle Bookkeeper (Odoo ERP) to own the day-to-day bookkeeping function and maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records. In this role, you will manage customer invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Flexible during MST business hours (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) cycle from invoice processing through payment reconciliation and collections.
  • Perform daily bank and account reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded within Odoo ERP.
  • Process weekly vendor payments and maintain accurate financial records across all accounting activities.
  • Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding invoices, and drive timely collections.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation, including receipts, expense records, and supporting accounting files.
  • Complete vendor onboarding requirements, including W-9s, vendor setup forms, and customer portal registrations.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support.
  • Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and recommend process improvements to strengthen financial controls.
  • Provide general administrative and accounting support as required.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a senior or standalone bookkeeping role.
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is required (Accounting, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and related accounting modules).
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.
  • Experience working within distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or similar product-based businesses is highly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
