Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Sales and Marketing Assistant to drive local business growth and streamline day-to-day operations for a catering company. In this role, you will execute outbound lead generation, manage inbound client inquiries, and maintain a consistent social media presence across multiple platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Additionally, you will provide essential operational support, including expense tracking, invoicing, and email marketing coordination, working closely with the business owner to maximize sales conversions.
Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm EST
Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and target potential catering prospects in the Baltimore area
- Conduct outbound outreach (email, phone, social media) to secure new business and manage the sales pipeline.
- Respond to inbound inquiries promptly, handle ongoing client communications, and provide timely follow-ups to maximize lead-to-booking conversions.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, manage expense tracking, organize bill and debt schedules, and prepare and issue client invoices and receipts.
- Maintain a consistent online brand presence by scheduling, publishing, and monitoring pre-made content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Assist with basic email marketing initiatives, maintain an updated contact list, and coordinate follow-up campaigns.
- Document all outreach activity, track campaign performance metrics, and collaborate directly with the business owner to optimize overall operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales outreach, lead generation, business development, or a similar client-facing role.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content scheduling tools.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
- Experience with basic social media engagement, outreach, and community management is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms and campaign coordination is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a willingness to learn.
