Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Dental Sales and Receptionist to join their team to manage front desk reception, patient coordination, and sales support. In this role, you will represent the practice with professionalism and warmth while guiding patients through treatment options and promoting dental services to drive clinic growth. Additionally, you will play an active role in handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and supporting sales efforts to maximize treatment acceptance.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM PST
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring a warm and professional experience.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding dental services, treatments, pricing, and insurance coverage.
- Support sales by promoting dental treatments, explaining procedures in patient-friendly terms, and addressing objections to encourage treatment acceptance.
- Process patient registration, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other confidentiality standards.
- Collect payments, handle billing inquiries, and assist patients with financing or insurance questions.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care.
- Track and follow up with potential patients and inquiries to maximize appointment conversions.
- Maintain front office cleanliness and ensure reception materials are up to date.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist, dental assistant, or in a sales-related role within a healthcare or dental setting.
- 1 to 2 years of experience with a dental clinic and knowledgeable about dental implants and dental procedures.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, treatments, and procedures is highly preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Sales acumen with the ability to explain treatment options, overcome patient hesitations, and promote services.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, EagleSoft, or similar) and standard office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Close attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with dental insurance, billing, and payment processing is an advantage.
- HIPAA compliance knowledge and professional integrity.
