Job Overview

This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week for an estimated duration of one to two months, with potential for ongoing work. The role focuses on building a complete Shopify store for a new cupcake business and optimizing existing e-commerce content with SEO best practices. The ideal candidate will work independently using provided templates while incorporating their expertise in e-commerce platform development and search engine optimization.

Schedule

• Mon-Fri (Hours TBD) AEST; 20hrs per week

Responsibilities

• Set up a complete Shopify store for a new cupcake business following provided templates and brand guidelines.
• Write and optimize product descriptions incorporating SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
• Review and rewrite all existing product descriptions on the current e-commerce website to enhance SEO performance.
• Work with WordPress backend systems to update and manage website content as needed.
• Collaborate with the client to ensure all content aligns with brand voice and business objectives.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven experience with Shopify store setup and management.
• Strong SEO skills with demonstrated ability to write optimized product descriptions and website content.
• Experience working with WordPress backend systems and e-commerce platforms.

Nice-To-Have Requirements

• Previous experience in the food and beverage or confectionery e-commerce industry.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce platform integration and management.
